Big Easy Extravaganza

Hotel Monteleone

New Orleans LA

About The Tour

6 Days/5 Nights

Since 1886 in New Orleans, five generations of the Monteleone family have run this marvelous hotel on Royal Street in the French Quarter. The Hotel Monteleone is as much a symbol of “The Crescent City” as a jazz band or Mardi Gras parade. The hotel is an official literary landmark. Ernest Hemingway, Tennessee Williams, William Faulkner, Anne Rice, Stephen Ambrose and John Grisham all patronized this venerable establishment and its renowned Carousel Bar. Stories of the hotel’s haunting experiences are legendary. On this program you and your guests will experience the best of NOLA, including a parade, jazz performance and 3 special meals. Pair your wines with a fabulous lunch at the Commander’s Palace, continually rated one of the USA’s Top Ten Restaurants. Spend a day in the bayous of Houma, with visit, tour and lunch at an antebellum plantation. Conclude with a voodoo dinner at Muriel’s, deep in the French Quarter.
