On June 30, 1864 President Abraham Lincoln signed the Yosemite Land Grant, protecting in perpetuity California’s Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove. That act gave birth to the concept of an American national park system, of which Yosemite became the 3rd national park. Over that long history Yosemite never ceases to amaze all who visit. This wondrous valley of granite carved from glaciers, teems with wildlife, giant redwoods and thundering waterfalls. Nearby Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is a 350 room, five star resort lying just outside the park. This splendid resort hotel offers fine accommodation and dining at fair prices, with the ability to do special events for wine groups and easy access into and out of the Yosemite Valley.

Day 1 – Arrival Meet & Greet + transfers from Fresno Airport (FAT)
Welcome Cocktails & Dinner at Tenaya Lodge

Day 2 – Experience Mariposa Grove with a Yosemite Conservancy naturalist
Lunch at the historic Wawona Hotel
6pm Private Tasting event with your wines
Dinner at leisure tonight

Day 3 – Group Photo with Yosemite Valley backdrop at Tunnel View
Two hour guided hike with naturalist in Yosemite Valley
Picnic lunch at base of El Capitan with climbing demonstration
Optional afternoon hikes or return to Tenaya Lodge for afternoon at leisure
4pm Group Archery event. Compete to win the Robin Hood Cup!

Day 4 – Optional activities in Yosemite National Park
MORNING:
Valley floor bicycling tour
Merced River float trip
Strenuous hike to Sentinel Dome
AFTERNOON:
Historic Ahwahnee Hotel tour
Mirror Lake and Mist Trail Walk
3pm – Return to Tenaya Lodge
Dinner at Leisure

Day 5 – Full Day at leisure to enjoy Tenaya Lodge and Ascent Spa, sporting activities
or optional tours adjacent to Tenaya or within Yosemite National Park
Farewell “Wine in the Woods” Dinner paired with your wines
(outside seating, weather permitting)

Day 6 – Departure Transfers to Fresno Airport
