This 7-night vacation is specifically designed for those who have previously visited Napa Valley and San Francisco. Stay in charming Yountville in deluxe accommodation, with organized visits to both historic and boutique Napa wineries. The program features special tastings and dining in America’s most renowned wine production area, including 3 experiences involving farm-to-table food production, a personal winemaking class at Raymond Vineyards and an optional equestrian ride through the vines and hills of Shadybrook Estate. Conclude with 3 nights at Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito, a national historic site and former army base, looking across the San Francisco Bay toward the beautiful city skyline.

HOTEL YOUNTVILLE & THE BARDESSONO HOTEL – Yountville CA
Centrally located in the Napa Valley, the town of Yountville is an ideal location to experience the valley’s many wineries and attractions. Everything is walkable in Yountville – shops, markets, restaurants, art galleries and tasting rooms. Your tour will stay 4 nights at either the Hotel Yountville or Bardessono. Both are superb.

CAVALLO POINT LODGE & SPA – Sausalito CA
Like most important harbors prior to the existence of air warfare, San Francisco Bay was protected by two military installations situated on either side of its entrance to repel an invading navy. On the south side of the Golden Gate Bridge is the large Presidio base. On the northern Marin County side is the army base and barracks formerly called Fort Baker, facing the city of San Francisco. In 2006 Fort Baker was converted by local entrepreneur and hotelier Mike Freed into a five star luxury hotel and spa, and renamed Cavallo Point Lodge. Staying here is a marvelous way to end this wine country vacation, with easy access into San Francisco city and adjacent Sausalito, a wonderful seaside artist community.

DAY 1 – Arrive San Francisco or Oakland International Airports (SFO & OAK)

4 nights Hotel Yountville or Bardessono Hotel

DAY 2 – Morning at leisure
11:00am – visit Promise Winery, Pritchard Hill for “Current Release of the Estate”
2pm – Visit Wheeler Farms in Rutherford for a Farm-to-Table pairing experience
Tour & Tasting, followed by Dinner at Charles Krug Winery – St. Helena

DAY 3 – Choice of unique Napa Valley experiences today:
Afternoon “Oakville Trek” tasting at B Cellars Vineyards
Morning “Winemaker for the Day” at Raymond Vineyards – Rutherford
Dinner at Bottega Napa Valley in Yountville

DAY 4 – Day at leisure for independent activities. Your Expanding Horizons host can arrange golf
or tennis at Silverado Resort, spa treatments at Bardessono, or pre-book select tasting experiences at iconic Napa Valley vintners including: Chateau Montelena, Robert Keenan Vineyards, Trinchero Family Estate, Schweiger Vineyards, Luna Vineyards, Stags Leap Winery, or selected vintners of your choice

DAY 5 – Morning at leisure
11:30 checkout followed by an exclusive group tasting and luncheon at Jessup Cellars
3:00pm – Transfer to Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito (1 hour drive)

DAY 6 – Morning optional Golden Gate Hike or Cavallo Point history lecture
Afternoon transportation available to San Francisco or Sausalito
